"We are all saddened by the loss of Aunty Neri. She was one of a kind. Our hearts go out to all her family and friends. She would always volunteer to work the front door at our fundraisers. Now our fundraisers will never be the same. We love and miss you Aunty Neri."

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Everyone! Be safe and Happy Holidays!!!

Post regarding Del Mar Fete 2003

Thank you Na Pali Productions for giving us the opportunity to play as the house drummers!

It was a pleasure to share the stage w/ such fine groups.

Also, Big Congrats to all the competitors in the solo and group divisions... job well done!

We're looking forward to many more memorable moments...

Posted September 28, 2003 regarding Pacific Islander Festival and Poly Idol Jam

First we want to acknowledge Aunty Isa for all her hard work over the last week, sewing the majority of the Samoan Community Dancers outfits. She originally was supposed to do "only 10" but then at the last minute everyone wanted her to do theirs.  She stayed up many nights to get the job done and she finished them all. She did a GREAT job on all of them and the Samoan Community Council should be THANKFUL to have someone like her helping them.

ALSO...
Much Love to Jeannie & Leilani, who both performed the Taualuga for Suka Samoa's "Polynesian Idol Jam" and for "the Samoan Community Council" at the Islander Fest. Also performing in the Samoan Community Council segments, our family members...LeiIsa, Saua, Hinano, Legalo, Nerisa, and Tulu. Great Job guys!

Special thanks to Joyce's mom, Aunty Maggie =) who came all the way down from Northern Cali ,
who has been coming out to our gigs to support us! Thank you! (Watch out!  This lady can TEAR UP the dance floor!) haha... Hope you're enjoying your stay Aunty!
We also want to acknowledge ALL the performers... Great Job this weekend! and to a couple of groups >with whom we drummed with and for over the weekend: Kaleo O' Nalani (Ida and Siaosi Veimau) of National City , and to Lokelani's (Roy and Kathy Asuega) from Costa Mesa... You guys put on another good show as always! It was fun! Also, we'd like to give it up to our boy, Ed Mac, of Motu Nehenehe. You and the troop tore it up out there! Good job man! Also performing w/ Motu Nehenehe, OHANA PLUS, Big, big thanks go out to Claire, for taking a TON of pictures for us to post up on the site
and for coming out to support!  Much love! Last but not least, we'd like to thank all our friends who came out to support! We are very, very grateful. Thank You! so, that's about it for now folks...
